A:Answer When it shuts off, check the voltage on the yellow and blue wires. Both should have 12 volts at the plug, where it connects to the speaker. Also, make sure the ground wire is connected directly to the chassis of the vehicle, you may need to scrap off paint to do this. Do not use factory wiring to ground it.
