You have to turn on the pass thru option
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The receiver can be set to pass through signal for the last input it was using when it was turned off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can set the receiver to "pass through" in the HDMI settings and you don't have to turn on the receiver to watch TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Video will pass thru but the audio will not. It's built functions make it easy to use and once You hear it, you'll want everything to go through it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, everything you watch will have the receiver sound because everything is connected to receiver and then from receiver to tv. Why do somebody wants to watch tv without a nice sorround sound? Just lower the volume or unplugged the hdmi from your dish or box cable and plugg directly to tv and leave teceiver off. I live in an apartment building and thought everything was going to be crazy loud but luckily is not, I just lower the volume ans sometimes use the ext-stereo setting to make all speakers work at the same time that way I can lower volume even more and listen to news on the back speakers.
