A:AnswerZone 2 is not digital but it does have an HDZone that can be set up which will play a digital signal to a 2nd zone. It will only play to one digital zone at a time so if you are using HDZone you cannot play a separate digital signal to the main zone.
A:AnswerYou will need an external amp if you want to bi-amp. There are only 9.2 channels of amplification no matter how you split them up so the most you could run is 5.2.4 if you want 4 Atmos speakers. You may be able to bi-amp if you run 5.2.2, not sure though. There are wiring diagrams of many different setups in the manual you can download from Pioneer's website that would take you through wiring setup.
