Q: QuestionI thought I had the correct usb cable for this.Bought it 2 years ago to go with my then-new MacBook Pro and barely used it. Today, I cannot find any cable that resembles the one necessary for it's weird port.Is it proprietary? How can I get another?

• A:Answer This is called a USB 3.0 micro-b. You'll just have to find one with that end and 2 standard USB ends. If you use just a 1 to 1 you'll need a DC power adapter.

• A:Answer In Quiet mode, it took me about an hour as it was going about 2X speed. After downloading Pioneer’s disk utility app and enabling performance mode, it averages about 4X speed and takes about 30 minutes.

• A:Answer I don't know, but I doubt it. I use it with a laptop. it plugs in via USB. On the laptop, I use a dvd/bluray player app that is on the laptop, and I control the laptop's app via a mouse. I have no idea what you would use to control the device if you plugged it into a yamaha receiver.
