Difference between SCLX701 and the SCLX801? null

The -701 is a seven channel unit, the -801 is a nine channel device.

One is stamped on the Lowe front the LX-801 stating that it is Air Studio certified ( a British studio where the Beatles use to record with George Martin) and of course, a bit more power....also in the back set up it has no speaker ports designated as "height." Now this may not make a difference but if you are running Dolby Atmos either upfiring or ceiling downfiring...I'd rather see the designation...hope that helps
