A:AnswerYou CAN use "run of the mill" cables but when you get up to Gigabit quality matter. I'd recommend CAT7 so you futureproof it a bit but the lowest I would go CAT 5. Cat seven isn't that much more expensive now and comes in great flat forms that are nice for running under carpets and such. They tangle less and they stay put. Check Ebay.
