“This Polk audio sound bar seems to be mostly for music..how is it on HDTVs? How is the sound bar for large HDTVs? I purchased the 75 inch Samsung SMART HDTV so I wanted to see if this sound bar would be as good for movies and TV as it is for music? Input would help”

The sound bar has plenty of power for any room up to 16' x 16' I would suggest a full surround system in a room any larger. As for movie quality sound? I think it sounds better playing movies than it is with music. But it does very good with both! I have never had anything less than a full surround system before so this was a difficult move for me. But I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. I certainly do not miss the extra components I was able to shed :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We've been enjoying our soundbar for movies and tv. We also tested out the definitive technology soundbar which had much better sound quality. But for the price we are very happy with the polk sound quality for both music and tv.
