Can I hookup my dvd and stereo to this null

yes on the dvd. no idea on the stereo.

The intended setup for this sound bar is optical cable. Any item that uses optical can be used. Best setup is to hook to your television so ever item is played through the sound bar.

You can but it only has one pin jack input and one optical input.
