QuestionI bought this 3-4 days back. Sound clarity is great but there is disturbance all the time whenever some one speaks which sometimes makes it difficult to hear. Is this problem with everyone?

- Answer I don't think that it's a natural or common issue with the headset. Hopefully when you were still in your original return period you returned and exchanged out the headset.

QuestionI purchased this headset about three weeks ago. At first, I was getting seven hours of talk time when I power on. Now after a full charge, it says six hours talk time. Anyone know how to restore full battery?

- Answer Actually, I had the same problem with mine and I contacted technical service and the answer was the battery is defective! First try to use the battery down to the recharge warning, then recharge it and if it still only charges to 6 hours, request a replacement. I received my replacement yesterday, June 22nd and now this one is charging to 7 hours. We'll see how long it stays that way! BTW, if you look in the knowledge base for this symptom, it says the battery is defective!

- Answer Charges using a micro USB charging cord. You can also purchase an optional Plantronics (now Poly)charging case for around $55. Another option is to purchase a package deal with a headset and charging case. The headset can either be put in a cradle on the case top to charge or folded up and placed in the case to charge. The case is portable and can be used to recharge the headset a few times without being connected to a charging cord.

If you plan to use the earpiece on Dragon through your PC, we recommend the Voyager 5200 UC version, as it is designed to ensure PC connectivity and optimal performance; hence it should work with Dragon Naturally Speaking without issues. The UC version includes a USB dongle. Pairing the headset to the included Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, rather than pairing directly to the PC/MAC via native Bluetooth, makes for a much clearer and consistent user experience. Without the Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, PC/MAC Bluetooth systems do not typically provide capability to use the call control from the headset itself. Additionally, the USB Bluetooth adapter also functions as an audio processor, which assures the best audio experience through wideband audio support—providing the highest voice quality. If connected directly to the PC/MAC via native Bluetooth, wideband audio is not possible. - Answer Hello! Yes, if your headset is already set up with Amazon Alexa, you can disable Alexa from the Plantronics Hub app main menu. The main difference between the Voyager Legend and the Voyager 5200 is that the Voyager Legend is a class 2 Bluetooth headset, it features Bluetooth V3.0, it has 3-MIC wind & background noise reduction, and a range of up to 10 meters (33 feet). On the other hand, the Voyager 5200 is a class 1 Bluetooth headset, it features Bluetooth V4.1, it has 4-MIC wind & background noise reduction, and a range of up to 30 meters (98 feet). The Voyager 5220 has the same specs as the standard 5200, the only difference is that it comes with a car charger. - Answer Just purchased the plantronics 5200 series. GREAT product. Comes with 3 sizes of ear pieces. Medium size works perfectly for my smaller ears. This is my 2nd Plantronics device. Love them. Excellent quality! Ron.

- Answer Hi Dave. If you are interested in a headset to voice dictate, then we recommend you to see our Voyager 5200 UC version as it is intended to ensure PC/Laptop connectivity. The standard version is mainly recommended for cell phones and tablets. As for doing remote instruction, as long as the program is able to detect the BT600 (USB adapter included with the UC version) and selected as default under Playback and recording devices, it should work.
