• A:Answer All you need is one microphone cable (or two, if you want to record two things at once). The cable that attaches the device to your computer is included. It's very simple and very effective in recording outside sources into your computer and into programs such as GarageBand, which is how I used it. Also, the equalizer lights were very helpful in adjusting my levels.
