Yes, no membership is required, the display provides lots of info regarding your rowing without iFit.

Technically, yes. However the machine is "locked" from use until you register with ifit. Setup the 30 day "free" trial. You can cancel that subscription shortly after to avoid being charged. But I'm sure there is a workaround to this.
