    • Answer LMaRing Hi there! Your treadmill must first be connected to a wireless network. You can follow the prompts on your startup screen to connect. Once you’ve customized your settings, you log in to your iFIT account using your email address. The first time you turn on the treadmill, dialogue boxes will guide you through the console’s features. Touch Hello on the screen and Settings to select the maintenance section to check for updates. Touch Update. Reference your user manual for more instructions.     • Answer Museumman You indeed can bypass iFIT membership and wireless connection if desired. This machine can be operated manually by touching “Manual Start” on the touchscreen or pressing the Start button. Speed and incline can then be adjusted at the press of a button. A wireless connection is needed to access the draw your own map workout feature, or distance and time workouts, as well as the iFIT library.   • QuestionDoes it have a safety clip to shut it off if you fall or go too far back?

    • Answer Yes, there is a clip you can attached to your waistband that connects to the magnetic key via a cord. It would serve as an emergency shutoff should you fall back or off by pulling out the magnetic key.

    • Answer This is a self install but it is heavy (300) pounds and a lot of parts. It can be done provided the parts fit. You can have best buy do the delivery and build it for you. Not sure of the price. Proform charges 189 dollars to have a tech come out and build it
