- Answer Quell is contraindicated if you have a cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implanted metallic or electronic device. However, there are no known safety issues and we do have many users with passive orthopedic implants who have had success with Quell. QuestionWould this device work for a country that uses 220 instead like 110 in the US?

- Answer The power adapter indicates “AC 100-240 V.” I charged my Quell in Myanmar which has 230 V electricity recently without any electrical converter required. However, importantly, a plug adapter IS required when using it in countries that have a different plug system (as does Myanmar).

- Answer The Quell band is designed to fit most calf sizes and will stretch if needed. It will comfortably fit a calf circumference of 12 inches up to 24 inches. - Answer If stimulation is too strong, you can re-calibrate your device within the app, or manually on the device by holding down the button until you see a waterfall pattern appear with the lights. You will follow the same calibration process that you did during setup. You can also adjust the intensity during therapy within the app, or by clicking the button on the device. - Answer The starter kit of the original Quell is what Best Buy generally keeps in stock. The Quell 2.0 is carried at their website. Their website has the 2.0 starter kit as well, and they have some great Black Friday Bundles available. The kit is consistent across versions: band, battery, two sets of original design electrodes (sport electrodes are also available a la carte), microUSB cable and 120V USB charger plug. The main difference between the two systems is the 2.0 requires smartphone app interaction and the battery pack is smaller. Hope that helps.
