QuestionI'm not interested in having bills paid via Quicken, but I do want the daily Quicken downloads from my financial transactions from checking and investment accounts. Will this be available when the subscription expires?

- Answer The connected services within Quicken are a feature included with active subscriptions. Once your subscription expires, you can still use the software, but you would have to input transactions manually.

QuestionIve just purchased a new Mac Pro. I want to upgrade my Quicken 2016 to Quicken 2018. Should I do this upgrade on my old Mac Pro first? If so, then how do I transfer my upgraded Quicken to my new Mac Pro?

- Answer I believe they supported the 2016 version for 3 years, so it won't need to be upgraded until 2019. I'm not sure how you transfer the software to another computer once installed on one. It would be worth a chat with Quicken to see if that is possible. You could put off the subscription model for another year...

QuestionIm using a pc program Palm OS based that can export each account in my software Splash Money and can .ofx or .csv file containg transactions for each seperate account. Will quicken be able to import these types of files?

- Answer Assuming you mean does this product help you to complete your 1040 (and state forms, if you get that version) so that you can either print and file or e-file, then, yes, TurboTax is a great product for filing your taxes. There's usually a charge to add the state form, and a charge to e-file, but you get your money a lot faster.

- Answer The program does all the work. Do not uninstall your old program. Just load the new one.

- Answer Not sure what you mean by "investment stock price updates", but the non premier - standard version works to input stock trade gain/loss for us.

QuestionI purchased Quicken Deluxe 2yr subscription and TurboTax Deluxe. On the Quicken box it says I get $35 off when I buy both, but does not say how to get it. It was a sticker in the upper right hand corner that peels off, but nothing was on the back.

- Answer The sticker says '...get $35 Off ... when you also buy TurboTax.' Whether you bought in-store or on-line, the $35 savings should have been applied at check-out instantly - please re-check your receipt. If this was not the case, please go back to your local Best Buy to explain what happened (didn't happen). Thank you.

QuestionCurrently Im using Quicken 2015 on a windows PC. Is it possible to moves this file to MAC laptop that has Quicken 2018? I have 7 years of data that I don't want to lose in case I get audited. I will no longer have access to the old laptop past June 2018

- Answer Yes. You will need to convert the file from Quicken 2015 to the Mac 2018 version; just move your file to the Mac computer, and open Quicken, then you should be prompted to begin conversion from your Windows file. QuestionThis says Mac/Windows... is this a cloud based subscription so quicken is no longer on the computer or still needs to be installed? Historically the mac version has sucked so I use quicken windows through paralells which is a pain.

- Answer Quicken 2018 release is not cloud based. When you install, it simply detects whether your machine is running on Windows or MAC OS, then installs on your computer from there.
