• Yes they work on ps4 but there is no way to turn up r down the volume or chat. So I would not recommend them for ps4

• It does work for PS4 you just attach the cord to the controller itself and than change your setting to output and input all sounds to the headset. My suggestion stick with the PS Gold if you can't buy the MixAmp with the headset because if you use the headset itself you will be extremely disappointed that it doesn't measure up to what you expected it to be.
