A:AnswerWired. I had it installed at the store and they did an amazing job of “hiding” the wires under the flooring in the trunk and the dashboard. The only visible wires are a few inches near cigarette lighter (though it can be hard wired, this option leaves it removable if I sell my car) and near the rear view mirror up under the headliner area.
A:AnswerBoth cameras are constantly recording, even when the car is off and the key is out. So if your car is hit while you're at work, the screen will warn you that "Collision detected. Check your videos." Both front and back cameras will be recorded and locked for the 15 seconds up to the collision. In a driving collision, the system will automatically lock the loop video from both cameras that were recording during the accident.
I have tested this out. It works, be sure to set your G-sensor correctly.

You would need to provide power to it either through a hardwire kit or through the provided cigarette socket charger. Please note that if you do not want to cover the existing mirror, the last remaining option would be to replace the current mirror. This may make this model not ideal for your use cases.

This dashcam will not drain your vehicle's battery. However, if the hardwire kit is installed incorrectly, there's a possibility that this could happen.

If you turned loop recording off then you will have to manually delete the videos to make up space! For further assistance please reach out to us at https://www.rexingusa.com/support/contact-us/

No, this dashcam only has a front and a rear camera. It does not have an inside cabin camera. For a inside cabin camera option, please look into its sister model, the M3. That unit would be better suited for your needs.
A:AnswerHello!
While technically it can, it will not be sufficient power. Please use the included cigarette socket charger or a sold-separately hardwire kit to provide power to the unit.

Best Buy Geek Squad should be able to install this unit with the provided items in the box. If an extension cable is needed, you may need to ask the Best Buy Techs if they would be able to install it.

I looked it up and I believe the size should be fine, even if the unit is sticking out a little bit from the sides, you can always make the straps tighter to compensate.
