- Answer Hello! I believe so! Please note that the longer the cable there more likely there is for data loss to be perceived. This might be minor like a bit of noise but I believe it would be completely fine for just 10ft.

- Answer You need to wire the red wire into your reverse lights so the guided lines are triggered when the vehicle is put into REVERSE.

- Answer Hello! The rear camera has a red cable that can be spliced up to your reverse lights in your vehicle. Once your vehicle is in reverse, it would let the dashcam know of this as the reverse lights are turned on. At this point the dashcam will display the picture.
