Q: QuestionIs the rear camera waterproof. I need to mount it outside the vehicle. Does the camera have memory card capability, and if so do you have the memory card required? How long are the cables for hard wiring the cameras?

• A:Answer Not waterproof. Wires run along headliner then to back window. Can adjust angle up and down on the rear camera. The OBD II plug is long enough to go from middle of window, up to driver headliner, down A piller and into the OBD II plug. Yes it takes a small sd card. Have to buy the right card. Rexing requires 1 brand or it wont work at all. Cant remember the name. Just got to their site. They tell you it

• A:Answer Hello, Unfortunately, you would be unable to power the dashcam effectively through the USB/USB C port in your vehicle. The problem with USB ports is that most USB ports in vehicles do not emit sufficient voltage to power our dashcams. USB ports in vehicles or computers typically emit around 5 to 6 volts of power which would not be sufficient to be used with our dashcams. Thus leading to random restarting, not recording properly or simply not turning on at all. Hope this answers your question!
