- Answer Hello David, Right now, Ring only offers professional monitoring in the US and Canada. If you'd like to self monitor your system it would work in Ireland but would not dispatch the police department or fire department in the event of an emergency. - Answer This kit does not come with a ring doorbell camera or any other cameras. However, I did see a kit with a camera included, and you can always purchase the doorbell separately.

QuestionWill there be an issue with regards to signal when placing the Sensors on my window and I have window shutters inside. Will the window shutters become an obstruction and will hinder a good signal to the sensors or even blocked the signal?

- Answer Hello JM, Great question! Steel doors and aluminum door frames may occasionally cause interference for the Contact Sensor. The Alarm Base Station communicates with your sensors and other devices using a technology called Z-Wave. Z-Wave networks usually have a greater range than traditional hub-and-spoke arrangements. An Alarm Base Station has a range of about 250 feet on an unobstructed path.
