QuestionThe description states it has a do not disturb setting however under specs it states it does not have a silent mode. Under do not disturb setting it still functions? We will not ever want any sound coming from the chime, only want one to improve WiFi conn

- Answer If you want to improve the Wi-Fi connectivity your best option is to get a Wi-Fi repeater like the Google Wifi: (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/google-google-wifi-ac1200-dual-band-mesh-wi-fi-system-3-pack-white/5706130.p?skuId=5706130). It will extend the Wi-Fi signal in your home and in those places where it is hard to get that signal. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but you will have connection all over your home. Getting the Ring Chime Pro will not solve your problem!

QuestionI have a Ring Alarm system. Will Chime also play security audio alerts & chimes, like audio countdown to disarm the alarm? Base station is at other end of house from entry and my daughter doesn't realize alarm is armed because you can't hear countdown.

QuestionCan you set when the chime will go off? For example, if I only want to use it with the doorbell, and have it only activate if the doorbell is pressed? I don't want it going off with every device and for every sensed motion outside. Thank you.

- Answer I think you have to buy the chime with the extender though. Or consider a wifi extender altogether. The basic chime wont help your wifi if you have coverage issues. It actually may just add to your issue.

- Answer If your existing door chime is heard in the basement yes you can.. you may want to look into the ring door chime see if that might be am option for your payments.

- Answer Honestly this is dependent on your preference and budget. I would start by replacing your doorbell with a ring doorbell first and then you can add in products as needed. At least that's my gameplan!
