A:AnswerSimple answer is yes. We have spotlights pointed at a 90 degree angle from these cameras. The picture quality may be slightly hazy but clear enough to easily make out what you are viewing. No issue with camera not coming on.
A:AnswerHi TexasHammer,
Ring Spotlight Cam Wired is equipped with a 20ft cord. There is no option to purchase a Spotlight Cam Wired with a shorter cord at this time.

A:AnswerHi Mark,
The Ring Spotlight Cam was designed to be powered via an AC adapter. Making any modifications to the device or the cable will void the warranty.

A:AnswerNothing to this!! It was extremely easy to connect and install. Mounting on the wall was easy (4 screws), then it is just like a normal appliance. Plugs right in. The app does the rest to connect to your Wi-Fi. Depending on location and size of home, you may need range extenders. I had to install a couple throughout my home.
A:AnswerHi Neighbor,
At this time, all of our devices work independently of each other. You can add as many Ring devices as you wish to one Ring account. Please email me to discuss this further.

A:AnswerYou can add as many cameras as you want, as you buy them. Within the app, you can add devices after initial setup. You'll go through an individual process with each device.
A:AnswerIf someone unplugs the camera, it will lose power and shut down. I would not plug it outside, since it would be easy for Gremlins to just unplug it and do whatever without being seen. So I had a brick removed and ran the plug through it. Then I had the brick replaced. It is awesome to have some eyes on things when you are not around or just witness what I did not see.
A:AnswerHi Eddie,
Thanks for contacting me.
The Wire for our Spotlight Cam Wired is used to keep your Spotlight Cam powered. Additionally, you will still need to connect your Spotlight Cam to your WIFI network.
If I can assist you any further please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected].

A:AnswerHi Jonnykerb.
Good question. Ring does not recommend altering the plug for the Ring Spotlight Cam Wired (Plug-In), and doing so will void the warranty on the device. If you require a G-type, three-prong plug, we would suggest that you order the proper version from our website, https://en-uk.ring.com/, or purchase from a local authorized retailer in the United Kingdom.
Here are the step-by-step installation instructions for the plug-in device: https://support.help.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/9670720575380-Installing-your-Spotlight-Cam-Plus-Plug-In.

A:AnswerHi Mouli.
Good question! Yes, the Ring Spotlight Cam Wired Plug-In device can be installed on an eave or ceiling with the Ceiling Mount (sold separately). You can use the Ceiling Mount to install your Spotlight Cam Wired on any ceiling, eave, or overhang, so you can improve your motion detection and get the perfect viewing angle for your home security.
It's important when selecting a location to remember that Spotlight Cam is designed to be placed at an optimum height of nine feet with the motion detector parallel to the ground. This will put the motion sensor in a perfect position to detect human-sized objects at up to 30 feet.
