A:AnswerCAT-8 cable is backwards compatible with CAT-6. The only difference is how many twists per inch there are in the twisted pairs. The more twists, the less interference and the higher the data rate.
A:AnswerEach camera will have it own view, they updated the app where you can see each camera and it will take a snap shot of the live view when you open the app. You thin can access the camera from there. Hopefully that answers your question.
A:AnswerNot sure what you mean by privacy mode. All videos are yours to save or delete as you see fit. Not outside source. You can turn cameras on and off. Alerts on and off and recording on and off....
A:AnswerUnfortunately not. The camera is not apart of the security system, I purchased it hoping for that feature. I contacted Ring figuring it was a way to connect it with the security but was informed it's separate, it only shows on app like the doorbell.
A:AnswerWe live in a 2500sqft home. This is my newest addition on top of my 3 Floodlights cams. So far it can connect to our router form the den. We have Charter Spectrum as our internet provider. I've NEVER had any problems. This cam is fast & responsive.
A:AnswerThe night vision works perfectly well. It'sthe typical GRAYish video, refer to YouTube videos to appreciate it better. I scour the YouTube videos before I bought mine. I love it!
A:AnswerU can get it now (01/16/19). The power cord is very long probably 15 feet. Cord length is not adjustable. Camera is a little smaller than a can of soda. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerFor me I'm about to get it about 50 feet away from my wireless router and able to use 5 Ghz instead of 2.4 Ghz. I think some of this will depend on your wireless router / AP system. Overall I'm very happy with the camera.
