Hi Larry, Thanks for reaching out. Ring is mounted to a mounting bracket and secured with security screws so that it is not easily removable. If someone does attempt to damage your Ring doorbell, the motion-activated camera will capture a video of them doing so, and you'll be able to use that as video evidence for a police report. In addition, we offer Lifetime Purchase Protection for all devices purchased, and will issue a free replacement if it's stolen or vandalized. Thanks, Kaitlyn R., Customer Satisfaction Specialist [email protected]
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You still have to screw into wall so it's just as secure as a doorbell that has wiring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a security screw but just about anyone these days can get a driver at a hardware store. Lol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's bolted into wherever you decide to mount it. There is a security screw that requires a specific driver to remove that comes with your ring product. If they still decide to take it, you'd have enough time from the alert to catch them in the act.
