Linda, Both Android and Apple. My mother-in-law has a Droid and we have an iPhone. The good thing is the App pages are basically the same from one phone to the other. So far, we've been able to help her navigate thru the app while we've been at our house on our iPhone. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You dont have to have the service, but it would save the videos for a longer period for about 3,00 a month.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t have to sign up for their service, you can use the apps as free service but they are cheaper than many security systems out there. However, you do need to buy the entire security kit for the system to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You only need to sign up for service after 30 days which is only $3/month or $30/yr if you want to be able to review video of past activity that you missed alerts for or share videos with people. There is also another plan called Ring Protect Plus that is for multiple cameras so you can have access to the videos for all cameras and it’s $10/month or $100/yr and you can share the videos with anyone like friends, family and law enforcement. In addition, you get 10% off future purchases with this plan and an extended warranty on all your devices. So you’re not signing up for service. You’re signing up to be able to view and review videos after they have already taken place. Otherwise they are just deleted. I just chose the $30 plan so I can see the videos if I don’t get to see them when I am alerted. But I don’t even think I will need it but it’s better to have than not. Not required.
