“My doorbell is to the left of my front door but faces to the side not out to sidewalk. With this in mind, will it work effectively given the person standing at front door has the Ring to the left facing his side. Will it work properly? Thanks”

Mine (I just installed yesterday) is similar to that. About 2 feet in on the wall to the side of the door. I used the one angle piece and with the 180 view, it’s perfect. I can see all of the door and all the way to the sidewalk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Ring Pro came with 2 angled mounting adapters one for when the push button is 90 Deg to the door to angle left or right and one to either angle it up or down. Mine is 90 Deg and it works well to pick up motion on the sidewalk too.
