• The doorbell only connects to WiFi. If you are viewing the video - that will use whatever network your phone is connected to - WiFi or cellular

• It works on WiFi. You could set it up to work on a 5g hotspot, but it will not work directly on a cell network. If by 5g, you mean 5.0 GHz, yes, it works with 2.4 and 5.0 GHz WiFi.

• Yes it does. I had to upgrade my Wifi to 5 g for it to work properly
