“Do I need Alexia with this system ? Can I use my cellphone carrier iCloud?”

As far as I can see no Alexia is not needed just the cell phone.

No you don't need anything besides a wireless network (WiFi), you just connect your Ring to your WiFi and it starts uploading the videos, you can also subscribe to Ring for $3/Month, so that you can store videos.

Alexia is not needed. It can be used to arm the alarm system (a separate purchase). It is intended to work with your cell phone.

No you have to use their iCloud service, however, Rey inexpensive $30 per year.

I believe so. Download the Ring app to your smartphone. Our Ring 2 works great on the iPhone though the app.
