A:AnswerDepending on the chime you have from previous doorbell. You use the old chimes in your house. On your cellphone yes, you can set different tones
A:AnswerYep. Mine eventually had 3 vertical slits completely through it and stopped working. It gets a LOT of direct sunlight and delivery people ruthlessly crush the button when they press it, so ehhh... I'd say it did ok for 3yr. A lot of rain in late summer to early fall where I'm at, so that's very likely what actually killed it, but it still took a while. Warranty covered it anyway, so now my doorbell looks all shiny and new again. Net gain, really. I just bought another for my mom, regardless of mine wearing down. I say just get an extended warranty and let nature do it's thing.
A:AnswerYes everything you need to know is in the information included with the product. However if you have any concerns or questions, they have a toll free number and their reps are there to answer any of your questions.
A:AnswerHave you set up the motion zone to include the area you want to cover? Also you may need to adjust the sensitivity for motion to get the desired results.
A:AnswerYou might want to consider one of the other models. Some are battery operated. This one (Ring Pro) hooks up to an existing doorbell transformer. Otherwise consider getting an electrician to install a doorbell transformer and fish the wires. (Fishing wire in an old house is a pain....)
A:Answerthis s not something you look through on your door. This is a doorbell with a camera in it. The picture feed from the camera will be viewed on your computer, tablet or smart phone. No need to put it lower. You may want to get a better understanding of this product before purchasing.
A:AnswerMine is installed where my old doorbell button was installed and it is about hip high. That's about 3 feet off the ground. With the wide angle lens, I have no problem seeing my entire front door area including the person's face. Obviously, they must be standing at least 2 feet away from the doorbell button. The closer the person is to the button, the more they block out the picture. Standing at arm's length is just about right.
A:AnswerThey make kits that can turn your doorbell. I think they go from 15 degrees to 45 degrees. That being said the camera has a decent fisheye where you may not even need to get an adapter to turn it
A:Answerunder the door bell cover there should be a QR code.you may need to take the tori screw out in order to pop off the lid to scan the code. If there is no code after you remove the cover then i would check with support. The original box may have the QR code, that is if the previous home owner left it, but that may not be the case.
