A:AnswerWe update the TiVo programming through our iPhone hotspot. The initial setup took a lot of data, but it works OK. We update our TiVo service whenever our hotspot is on. We don't have Netflix or other online TV programs. We just use an over-the-air antenna.
A:AnswerSorry, but you will need high speed internet to receive the guide and updates. I have internet through Verizon landline and even my wifi would not work with the Tivo. I had to wire it as a LAN. Good luck!
