- Answer Does your X11 box have hdmi out? If you answered yes.. then yes. HDMI signal goes into the unit and gets replicated to come out to two other tvs showing the exact same input. Very simplistic.

- Answer This would allow you to split the Amazon fire stick signal and send one to the TV and the other to the soundbar. If the soundbar can accept an audio signal over HDMI it should work fine.

QuestionStreamlining TVI have three separate tvs that I would like to streamline through our computer at the central area upstairs. How can I do this and watch 3 differen't programs or is this at all possible?

- Answer I'm not sure if this will work but my best suggestion is to get three different cast devises (Chromecast) and plug each of them into your tv's and name them accordingly to what tv it is connected with. From your computer you should be able to see all three of them pop up when you go to cast a tab. However, with Netflix I'm not sure if you cast three different movies but you can try. Should work with other websites like Youtube.

QuestionAudio Return Channel (ARC) support missing?Does this device actually support ARC? I have a new Sony LCD TV which I have used ARC to route audio back to my receiver. If I put the Splitter between the receiver and TV on either HDMI output port, I get no more audio back to the receiver, though CEC works. Should this device support ARC? If not, that's a pretty serious flaw in your HDMI 1.4 support.

- Answer Does not support ARC. Will only transmit a signal based on what it sees. If your receiver supports ARC then you would need to use an analog output from the receiver to accomplish want you ar trying to do here. Keep in mind a basic splitter could not possibly have that type of technology. Sorry to say I believe you are expecting too much from a basic unit and should upgrade your source if you want this function. Regards,

- Answer I had this problem and one of my hdmi cords wasn't a heavy duty one and the wires inside were starting to tear Once I changed that cord it worked great.

QuestionRoku to rocketfishHave a new samsung hd led 55 but it has now audio out. Finally figured out to hook up the rca cables to the dish receiver audio out and works fine but switch to roku3 and speakers stay on tv station. How to get the roku sound to rca rocketfish speakers?

- Answer You may need a different type of receiver to accomplish this. It would need multiple audio outputs. Not sure what your dish receiver has but if it has multiple output you would manually need to change the output to whatever one is driving the Roku

QuestionHDMI splitter doesn't work.I have a hdmi 1080p 3D splitter ver 1.3 and I have it hooked up to a laptop trying to get 2 tvs to work. I only get reception on one tv but not the other. If I switch the cables I get reception on the second tv but not the first. Could the problem be the splitter / cables?

- Answer From my experiences, the HDMI splitter needs to have its own power source. This rocketfish splitter has that. If you are still not getting signal on both TVs, make sure your HDMI cables are good quality with big gauge wires; also make sure the cables are the same brand. If that's not the case, return the splitter for a different one as it may be defective. Hope that helps!

QuestionAre direct tv receivers and gefen extenders compatible?I am connecting the splitter to a HD Direct Tv receiver and the out 1 to a tv and out 2 to a wireless extender from gefen . The image on the tv is a green overall this happens after being connected for a while. Are this products not compatible ?

- Answer Maybe a bad Spliiter unit? Should feed though. If it works for a while and then goes green it sound like a mechanical issue.

- Answer This will allow sound to pass through only. So if it does not do it now then it will not do it after. The problem is with the TV some allow sound pass though and others do not.

- Answer I dont see why that wouldnt work, Other than the HDCP compliant device, If amazon firestick tv requires the HDCP than I doubt the monitor will be able to read the input.

- Answer This will split a single signal to 2 different devices. You want to connect the Genie to the input and have the TV and sound strip being the outputs.

QuestionHow many TVs can I connect wirelessly to the rocketfish?I have 3 HDTVs mounted on 3 different floors of a house. Can I connect all 3 back to one computer over the wireless network using the rocketfish? I would like to basically broadcast the same powerpoint to all 3 TVs at one time over the wifi network.

- Answer This device is not intended for wireless transmission. Something of that magnitude would not be an easy feat. Even wireless hdmi transmitters tend to be iffy, and they cost around 100 dollars

- Answer I used the Rocketfish - 2-Way HDMI Splitter to do it and it worked. I wanted to connect my analog Onkyo receiver (with 2 great Polk speakers) to my Samsung Bluray to play music, and use the BluRay also for movies, to my Samsung Smart TV. I also got an HDMI to Analog converter in the chain. Works well, only downside is that the TV seems to come on when I use the Bluray for Music, but I can turn it off.

QuestionCompatibility with Rogers Cable boxHi, I'm having problems using this splitter with a Rogers cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250 HD). The Rogers box displays a message claiming that the splitter is an illegal device and shuts down HDMI output. I guess it has something to do with HDCP protection. Have you had success using this splitter with Rogers cable/satellite sources? Cheers Hamish

QuestionGetting 3D pass through to workI have a 3D TV, a 3D DVD Player, a 3D capable Direct TV receiver, and a Denon non 3D AVR. What do I need to be able to watch 3D movies and still use the Denon for surround sound? I bought this 2 way splitter thinking it would split the HDMI Monitor so that I could use the TV for display, but it didn't work. All I got was audio. Do I need a 3 way splitter? A Switcher? I only have one HDMI input going to the TV because it is mounted on the wall and there is only one HDMI outlet on the wall so I am unable to plug any additional HDMI cords into the TV itself. I had it connected through the Denon at one point and was able to see a 3D movie with surround sound, but then I could not get the display to go back to direct TV. All I got was sound. Any ideas? Maybe a 3 way splitter?

- Answer Your best bet is to get a 3d compatible HDMI reciver to use to handle your audio and switching between your sources. I have the same sort of set up with one wall port and works perfectly. My reciver even turns the TV on for me as well.
