• There was an adapter that came with it to be used with the Samsung tablets. The mini usb adapter. You could buy it and you could always return it, if it dosen't work for your tablet.

• According to http://meetmhl.com/MHLEnabledProducts.aspx, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 should be compatible with the RF-G1171 MHL Adapter.
