• The Tab 4 is not MHL compatible. But this does work for other tablets. I have the Tab S and it works.\ http://blog.clove.co.uk/2014/02/05/mhl-adapter-samsung-galaxy-need/

• YOU NEED A SPECIAL MHL ADAPTER NOT JUST THE USUAL ONE.

• Won't work on any of the tablets, I also got two original samsung mhl and they don't work,seems like samsung tablets doesn't support mhl to tv
