QuestionPalm Tungstion 2 does not see bluetooth. Why.I can not get a connection with my Palm Tungsten 2. I don,t get the short cut icon eather on my DELL. Windows 7 64bit.

- Answer You won't get the icon, nor a connection until you accept the license agreement, which comes when you use the cd for installing the drivers. while it seems this is a plug and play device, it really isn't. See if that helps.

QuestionDriver Will Not InstallI downloaded the Broadcom driver to my PC desktop to use with Windows XP. I double clicked on the setup icon to run it. It prompted me to plug in the adapter. It would not detect the device. The install stopped with a message, "Could not read Blootooth Device information, please reboot your computer and try again". I did this several times with no success. The adapter is not shown in Control Panel/Bluetooth Devices. Control Panel/Bluetooth Configuration does not see the adapter as well.

- Answer Try uninstalling the RF-MRBTAD adapter and drivers. Also uninstall any Bluetooth software (http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php) that may have came preinstalled on the computer. After rebooting the computer, reinsert the adapter letting the computer to pick drivers to install for it. Then you will need to save (click save not run) the Broadcom software to your computer and install it which will give additional functionality over the built-in software.

QuestionDriver unlicensed?After installing the Broadcom drivers from the link, a dialog appears (and upon each boot) that says "Your Bluetooth Software license does not include use with this Bluetooth device. [11]"

- Answer The RF-MRBTAD is licensed for the Broadcom software. Try uninstalling the RF-MRBTAD adapter and drivers. After rebooting the computer, reinsert the adapter letting the computer to pick drivers to install for it. Then you will need to save the Broadcom software (http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php) to your computer and install it which will give additional functionality over the built-in software.

QuestionWhy doesn't my Sony Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headset work with the Rocketfish Micro USB Adapter?My computer is running on Windows 7, 64-Bit. My USB Adapter installed by itself as soon as I plugged it in. I see the bluetooth icon on the task bar, and it seems to be functioning properly. Why is that when I try to pair the headset with the adapter/computer, nothing happens? According to the instructions in the Sony Headset Manual, the headset only needs to be in "Pairing Mode" to find new devices, so there can't be any software that I'm forgetting about. This is the headset I'm using: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&partNumber=DRBT101/BLK I'd greatly appreciate anyone's help! When I'm trying to pair the headset with the bluetooth adapter/computer, nothing happens!

- Answer While it seems that it installed itself, it really needs the info on the CD (included, or should have been included) has a license agreement that must be checked or nothing will pair. had the same issues with my speakers, did the install from the CD, then went to Devices in Control Panel, had my computer find the device after doing the pairing as instructed and now everything is peachy.

QuestionHow do I create a "virtual serial port" so the rocketfish bluetooth adapter can connect with my Tungsten E2 PDA?I'm trying to set up a bluetooth hot sync for my Palm Tungsten E2 on my Windows 7 on a Dell i560 64 bit that won't take a traditional USB hot sync. I get a message that I must first create a virtual serial port on my PC. The rocketfish has no instructions on how to do that. Any help out there?

- Answer Setting up the virtual serial port is a Palm issue. Google Palm E2 bluetooth setup.

QuestionWhy does Skype crash when I initiate Bluetooth with my Rocketfish adapter?Skype crashes when I turn on the Bluetooth with the Rocketfish micro adapter, and won't boot up as long as I have the Rocketfish working. As soon as I pull out the Rocketfish, Skype will work normally again. Why? And how can I fix this?

- Answer Try uninstalling Skype, RF-MRBTAD adapter, and Bluetooth drivers. After rebooting the computer, reinsert the adapter letting the computer to pick drivers to install for it. Then you will need to save the Broadcom software (http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php) to your computer and install it which will give additional functionality over the built-in software. Finally reinstall the Skype software to see if the issue is resolved.

QuestionAdapter installed, headphone connected but no soundI have the rocket fish RF-mrbtad and it installed fine. I have the Motorokr S305 bluetooth headphones that are recognized and connected according to the bluetooth application but there is no music to the headphones. It even says the headphones are connected to the audio platform. I have tryied every speaker selection in the sounds controlpanel and rebooted the computer but no sound. The regular headphone jacke works fine, and it doesn't seem to matter if theses are plugged in or not. I keep thinking there is a configuration i am missing in my winxp desktop. These headphones connected fine to my android phone and worked great first try.

- Answer Have you gone to Control Panel and made the headphones the default choice? If not, it will have the computer's speakers as default. see if that helps.

After rebooting the computer, reinsert the adapter letting the computer to pick drivers to install for it. - Answer You need to make the headphones the default speakers. go to Control Panel and open the Sound icon. choose the headphone- set as default, click Apply and Save.

- Answer Make sure you are saving the Broadcom software to the computers hard drive and running it as the Administrator. Try uninstalling the RF-MRBTAD adapter and drivers. After rebooting the computer, reinsert the adapter letting the computer to pick drivers to install for it. Then you will need to save the Broadcom software (http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php) to your computer and install it which will give additional functionality over the built-in software.

- Answer The logitech keyboard and mouse should have come with their own adapters. I don't think the keyboard or the mouse is bluetooth, they run on an 2.4 Ghz frequency the same as your cordless phone at home. OTH, an iPhone has bluetooth so that will work fine and can be found by the adapter.

- Answer Not yet- only Apple Iphones, pads, computers and pcs, so far. Send Rocketfish a note asking about it- the more we ask, the more folks develop things we need. Am surprised your tablet is not already Bluetooth enabled???

QuestionHow can I make the sound go to my Bluetooth speaker?I have a Bluetooth speaker that I connected to my pc with the Bluetooth adapter. The PC says it's connected but there is no sound coming from the speaker, it's only coming from the PC. I couldn't find anything in the setting to make the Bluetooth speaker the main option for sound.

- Answer The setting is in your control panel. Look for the sound option in there and choose it. You need to set Bluetooth as the default device. That should send the music through your Bluetooth speaker.

QuestionWill this work with a desktop computer?I noticed (after I bought it) that it says it will turn your laptop into bluetooth. Is that the case for a desktop computer? Also, anyone have any luck syncing this with a Bose mini soundlink?

QuestionWindows 7 keeps Updating with "Generic"I have given up installing this. You cannot install on Win7(64) without the Micro USB in the computer,... and as soon as it is in, the plug and play on WIndows 7 (x64) keeps installing "Generic Bluetooth Adapter ". If you uninstall that in Device Manager, it keeps coming back as soon as youput the microUSB in,. What is the driver/location on the install DVD for Win7(x64?) if I update the drivers with that, it should work. Which of these three file folders is it in? BTW-2K BTW-LH BTW SafeMode install?

- Answer Is the bluetooth services turned on? Look in control panel ->admin tools ->services -> bluetooth services. Make sure startup is set to automatic.
