- Answer I do see BET, and BRAVO. I do not see an app for WE or OWN though. If WE and OWN do not have apps then best way would be if your cable or satellite provider have a Roku app. For example, i have Time Warner and they have the TWC app which you get all the channel lineups and also access to OnDemand through the TWC app. Most of these apps do require you to have an active cable or satellite service as they require you to enter your email address and password associated with the provider.

- Answer The buttons help navigate the on-screen "apps," channels, and shows. It's all organized through a series of options that are intuitively organized. Hence the up, down, left, and right; plus ok to select.

- Answer You can get the original Roku, probably marked as the Roku 1. It has 480i resolution and should be on the red white and yellow jacks, and would be perfect for you.

- Answer You do not need to have wireless internet to use this device. There is an Ethernet port in the back, so you can have a hard-wired connection. The only limitation is that you would have to have your router close by, or have a really long Ethernet cable to reach the device. Hope this helps!

- Answer All you need is Internet. However, some channels may cost extra. I think my wife and I picked up HBO for roughly 15$/month. But there are quite a few free channels. If you have cable or satellite you may be able to sync your provider to your roku, and get the channels you're already paying for, with no additional charge.

- Answer I'm not really sure. I have personally viewed media files through my USB port, but there's also a way to set it up using a DLNA server. I hope this is helpful. :)

- Answer Yes, there are many free streaming services and shows, including some old movie shows and music stations that are free. However, to get the best enjoyment from your Roku device, you should have at least one movie streaming channel (such as Netflix, which shows movies, tv shows, some Showtime series, great documentaries, and even Netflix originals for only $10/mo) and one current TV show streaming channel such as Hulu. Netflix releases TV series about 6 months after the series finalies. Without an email address to prove that you have a valid service provider, you will not have access to regular stations, like ABC, NBC, CBS ... etc.
