• I have this exact configuration working perfectly. I'm on Spectrum and I run their app on the Roku over wifi.. no set top box required. You should know however.. that personally I find the quality of the picture better on the Spectrum set-top boxes as opposed to streaming from the Roku Spectrum app. It's still VERY good and has almost all the same functions as a set top box.

• Yes you can go to the app search page, or channels as Roku refers to them, find spectrum and install. We watch live TV in the bedroom as well as on demand through our Roku stick, saved a little bit of money keeping only the cable box in the living room. And streaming on the other TV's
