Yes on AOL, and yes on Minecraft, but it will be blocky as well as slow.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If AOL mail is web-based, yes. Same answer for Minecraft. This does not have a large hard drive so you may not install programs or store too much (i.e., documents, photos, videos, music) on it. This is primarily used for anything on the internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know AOL works as well as any internet site you want to look at. As long as you have WiFi you can look at any site using the Chrome browser it offers. If your child plays Minecraft online it should be able to work, however, I'm not sure as I don't let my daughters use my chromebook. They use the desktop for that. I don't think downloadable games such as Minecraft or Sims 3/4 will work as they need drivers and a video card. Also there is no way to insert a disk. I hope someone can answer your question about online Minecraft.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes to AOL because I use a private e-mail and network through work on my Chrome book. Minecraft is a definite yes. just download Google play and there are many minecraft games to choose from. Also, if you enjoy music there is an app that allows you to choose as many songs and albums as you like and make playlists for free. It is a great feature. No worries - good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as using AOL I would say yes because I use a private network through my school without any problems at all. Your sons game is a definite yes. Just download Google play and there are numerous minecraft games. They are super simple to download. This Chromebook really is excellent for the price.
