A:AnswerThanks for the responses. I went to the store to measure the doors, and I measured that they each need 1" extra clearance beyond the 32 1/8" width of the fridge to accommodate the hinge mechanism when open. But, Samsung sent a link to the manual and referred me to page 18, where the measurement I was looking for is #6 (I think). There, it says that each door hinge requires 1 1/4" clearance. In my kitchen one door will be next to the kitchen counter, and as this is a countertop depth fridge, there should be no problem with opening the door on that side. - at worst, I can move the fridge forward a little to make sure that the door on that side can open. The other side of the fridge will be next to a wall, so I will need to make sure there is 1 1/4" clearance between the fridge and the wall on that side, to enable that door to open (only 90 degrees given the configuration of the space I have, but that is enough). The space I have for the fridge is 33 7/8" wide, so I will just make it in terms of clearance (32 1/8" for the fridge + 1 1/4" to clear the door next to the wall = 33 3/8"). Close! Wish me luck!
A:AnswerI'm happy to help with this, zanderka! The space between the refrigerator doors and freezer drawer is indented. This creates an overhang that can be gripped similar to a door handle, but with a clean, sleek look. ^Jecca
A:AnswerAbsolutely, mjod! Page 36 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/2RdA6NB) has step by step instructions on how to turn the ice maker off. It is important to make sure the ice maker is turned off if you are not installing a water line, as this could cause damage to the internal components. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking, Tony! This model does not use an internal water filter. However, you can install an external water filter to the water line if desired. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking, Tim! According to page 17 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3bQbvWo) this model requires a location with a temperature range between 50 °F (10 °C) and 109 °F (43 °C). ^Jecca
A:AnswerWe're sorry for the confusion, Rose! Samsung has many different size refrigerators, some of which are very similar. This specific model has a 5.8 cu. ft. freezer capacity, and 11.7 cu. ft. refrigerator capacity. This makes the total capacity 17.5 cu. ft. ^Jecca
A:AnswerGreetings!
We appreciate your question about removing the casters to lower the overall height of this Samsung refrigerator.
The wheels on this refrigerator model are not detachable as they are used for mobility and stability (leveling).

A:AnswerIt sure does, MoMo! The automatic ice maker in this model has a sensor that determines when the ice bucket is full. When the bucket is full, the ice maker will automatically pause ice production until some ice has been removed. Once the sensor has determined some ice has been removed, it will automatically begin ice production again. There is also an option to turn the ice maker on/off manually using the control panel. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi There.
Glad that you ask what is the shape of the ice on your Samsung Refrigerator. This refrigerator model produces crescent ice.
Have a great day.

A:AnswerHi there,
The doors should be open by 135 degrees to ensure that the crisper/drawer can move freely.
The sides also require a clearance of 11 1/2 inches on each side for the doors to open to the desired angle.

A:AnswerHi there,
This fridge model has an ice bucket but doesn't have a water dispenser because it doesn't have a water filter.
Please see the "Installation" section on pages 15-16 of the user's manual for your reference.

A:AnswerSunshine, for best performance, set the freezer temperature to 0 °F (-18 °C) and the fridge temperature to 37 °F (3 °C).
Have a great day.

A:AnswerGlad you asked, Sunshine1234. Let us go ahead and get you some details about the fridge.
After looking into the manual for the fridge, there is no information about any feature that turns off the cooling capability of the fridge or the freezer when the door is ajar.
Leaving the door ajar can cause frost from the condensation when the hot air from the outside meets the cold air within. Also, the fridge has a door alarm feature which is triggered if the fridge door or freeezer drawer.
Please see the links for more details.
