“It says the buttons are glass. how does this work as far as a standard touch pad is concerned? Glass does not depress like a touch pad so are they touch sensitive and if so how sensitive? Can a child 5 years old turn this on?”

microwaves control is all on the glass door. so it won't leave any depression. the touch pad is really sensitive, so I will not be really surprise if your 5 year old can turn it on by herself.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buttons are across the front of the glass door. Not as sensitive as the normal control panels on the side of the door. Takes a little more effort to get it to recognize what you are pushing.
