Questionwhat is the cfm and can it be vented up and outside

- Answer We recently purchased this microwave. My husband installed it...yes, it is vented to the outside through the roof. Our vent goes through cabinets above the microwave through the roof. I don't know the cfm, but it has several vent speeds and seems plenty powerful. It is mounted above the Samsung convection oven we purchased at the same time. Pleased with both appliances so far.

QuestionJust purchased the model ME21M706BAG and was looking at vent speeds in an online manual. Have only medium speed and low speed. According to manual, I should be able to press once for boost, twice for high, three for medium and four for low-any answers?

- Answer Update.... now I pressed Vent and it went to Boost, then High, then Med and now low.... it appears to be working fine now...

QuestionIs this supposed to come with an instruction manual? I only got a six page generic flimsy folded paper instruction, that had incorrect information. I think it is a generic microwave sheet. The online manual is 132 pages long and explains much more.

- Answer As is often the case today you download the full manual and print it yourself. The goodwill/positive perception of the product is distorted by the failure to include the printd manual.Many features are not useable with out the manual.

- Answer Yes it will still work but it will look strange because the case of the microwave isn't finished, because it is supposed to be covered by the cabinets.

- Answer Don't bother. It's basically a very poor design. The unit I received came with an instruction booklet for a different unit and the display is the worst I have ever encountered.
