QuestionMy refrigerator model number RF226abpn . Froze up with a lot of condensation and ice, it went into an auto defrost mode. Now the freezer or fridge part isn’t getting cold anymore, fridge temp is 72 and freezer is displaying temp of 68. Can I reset it?

QuestionWe have exactly 36 inches of width for a refrigerator. Would we not have enough room for air to circulate on the sides with this fridge? There’s plenty of height and depth room.

- Answer I wouldn't chance it with the dim. of this model 35.75" - Remember you need enough space for in case you need to pull it out, maneuver it etc. 36" exact leaves no room for even your hands to pull it out if you needed to.

QuestionJust curious if anyone has issues with freezer drawer having a thin layer of ice all over inside? As soon as I grab a box,etc, the ice layer melts at the touch of my hand. It's brand new!

- Answer I haven't seen a way to set the alarm, so I assume there's a preset time or maybe the fridge senses if the interior temp starts to rise. I've left mine open a few times. I haven't timed it, but I can take multiple items out of the fridge or unload several small bags of groceries easily. The alarm is a chime, not at all annoying, and repeats every minute or so if you don't respond.

QuestionWhat year was this model (RF260BEAESR) manufactured? I read on the inside upper left November 2019 but many of the reviews are from 2013 - 2019. Did they redesign from a previous model of the same model number?

- Answer Hi there! Bypassing the internal water filter of this refrigerator is really easy. Simply remove the filter! There is an automatic flap that will close to prevent leaks when the filter is not inserted. ^Jecca
