  • QuestionWhat do/can I use to wipe down the front of my refrigerator. A damp cloth is not enough to get rid of finger prints. Can I buy something that will work without ruining the refrig surface?

    Asked by Maca.

    • Answer Hello Maca, Thank you for reaching out and letting us know your inquiry on cleaning the front of your refrigerator without ruining the surface. We understand that this information may be essential for you since a damp cloth is not enough to get rid of fingerprints. We're here to help. Here's how to clean the exterior of your Samsung refrigerator. Wipe the control panel and digital display with a damp, clean, soft cloth. Do not spray water directly on the surface of the refrigerator. The door handles and cabinet surfaces should be cleaned with a mild detergent and then wiped dry with a soft cloth. To keep your appliance looking its best, polish the exterior once or twice a year. For reference, attached is a link to the user manual. See pages 20-21 for additional information on cleaning your refrigerator. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201904/20190418150942025/DA68-02601B-14_181008.pdf You may also refer to the helpful link below for a plan in keeping your Samsung refrigerator clean. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00079481/ For other concerns, do not hesitate to reach out via our Support Channels below: 1. • Questionhow do i take the glass out above the vegetable draws the corners seem locked in?

    Asked by hah.

    • Answer On this refrigerator (wonderful) the shelf above the crisper draws is very well built and heavy, as such I think you will see far less gunk gets caught in glass/edging area. The glass and corners of the shelf are unlike the ones where the glass is removeable. The drawers come out and then the entire shelp comes out. You will be surprised how easy this unit is to clean and the shelving is the best I have ever seen or owned (I have owned many). Evereything about this fridge is heavy duty in my opinion.

  • Questiondoes it come in counter depth? and if it does is there a price difference?

    Asked by Mark.

    • Answer No, this model does not. Samsung has smaller CU FT models, which are counter depth. Mine sticks out about a foot past the counter but I like it that way, not as beautiful, but the shelf depth is well worth it.

  • QuestionDoesn't opening and closing of the fridge for water affect the fridge; whether its the temperature or the life of the fridge, etc?

    Asked by gsr69.

    • Answer I haven't had any issues. I can assume that if the door is left open long enough, there would be temperature loss. Usually I'm just filling up a Keurig water reservoir and it's open for a minute or two. The same amount of time I spend opening and closing getting ingredients or condiments out (since I often forget to grab something.) The temp is constant at 37 and the only time I noticed it went up was when I threw away the first couple gallons of initial water. I appreciate the twin cooling because the fridge and freezer have separate cooling mechanisms and won't affect their respective temperatures.
