• A:Answer Hi LauraB, I'm glad to clarify what the middle drawer is on this Samsung refrigerator model. The middle drawer is the top freezer compartment where an ice maker is installed. It is not a FlexZone, where you can choose if it will function as a freezer or fridge. Leo

Q: QuestionCan you just use the ice out of the door and turn off icemaker in the bottom drawer so you could use that half for freezer space?

• A:Answer Hi Meg, Yes, you can turn off the ice maker and use the ice dispenser on the door. However, it cannot be used as an extra space because it is designed only for the ice maker. Please see the "Ice Maker / Filter Reset" section on page 42 of the user's manual to help you turn off the ice maker. Q: QuestionIs the ice dispenser in the door supposed to have a funnel on it to contain the ice as it dispenses? When we’re using it the ice gets everywhere and it looks like something is missing.
