- Answer Just look at the specs to decide, Monitor technology isn't evolving much at this point besides getting cheaper. 4k monitors from 5-8 years ago are on par with current ones. This was released in 2019. If you want a high refresh monitor because you play like cocaine is saturating your veins, go get am monitor with a higher refresh rate.

QuestionI just received the monitor. The picture quality is great but my only issue is that I am only getting 30hz refresh rate max. I tried different settings and the default one for the monitor but it will only allow me to use it at 30hz. I use an M1 MBP.

- Answer Not enough bandwidth on cable you are using. Search for a 4k60 USBC to HDMI, "UNI" makes a decent cable

QuestionI'm trying to connect this monitor to a Thinkpad Thunderbolt 3 Workstation Dock and the docking station cannot detect the display. The docking station works perfectly with other model DELL monitors. Checked cables and re-booted...nothing works. ??

QuestionDoes anybody know if you can edit the settings that appeared when you first set up your monitor (i.e, your optimal refresh rate/fps)? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

- Answer Yes you can adjust frame refresh in Windows display settings, it also has amd freesync so some games should just apply the best settings automatically if you've an amd gpu
