QuestionWhich way does the door open?I see that the door hinge is not reversible, therefore I need to know how the door is hinged. When one is staring at the front of the washer, are the hinges on the left side of the circle (around 9 o'lclock) or a 3 o' clock? Important to me becuase I can only set up my washer/dryer combo in a specific way given the location of my hook ups, and I want to be able to move my clothes easily from the washer into the dryer, without having the doors in the way.

QuestionDoes this washer have a steam cycle?I viewed other Samsung 3.6 HE Front Loading Washers at Loews & Home Depot at a similar price point and they both had steam. This didn't mention it, but does have a sanitation cycle. Wasn't sure if this machine had steam, and also what the difference is between the steam and sanitation cycles. Thanks!

- Answer Thanks for your interest in Samsung Washers. The WF361BVBEWR does have a Sanitize cycle, which is made possible by the internal water heater which boosts the incoming water temperature to over 150°F to eliminate over 99% of bacteria. This model does not have the Steam option. If you'd prefer a model with the Steam option, you may want to consider the WF393BTPAWR or WF405ATPAWR, which offer Steam and Sanitize. Both of these features can help to remove stains and bacteria, though the types of stains and the appropriateness of each option may vary depending on the type of fabric and stain. I would suggest referring to the fabric care instructions on your garments for guidance on cleaning methods. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionAre you you able to disassemble this washer to fit it down a narrow basement staircase?Are you you able to disassemble this washer to fit it down a narrow basement staircase? If so, what are the dimensions once disassembled? I have owned this washer for over a year and I recently moved into a house with a narrow basement staircase. I really like this washer and do not want to part ways with it but I may have to since it does not fit down the stairs.

- Answer I'm sorry to hear your staircase is too narrow to fit the WF361BVBEWR. This and most other Samsung washers and dryers measure 27" wide at their narrowest point, and they are not designed to be disassembled to fit through narrower spaces. - Ms. Samsung

- Answer Yes, this happens to mine as well. I just take it out and rinse it out and leave the drawer open so that it won't have mold form. Other than that, not that big of an issue. Hope that helps!

Questiondoes the depth on the specs include the handle in front?I'm trying to figure out how deep of a machine I can fit in my laundry closet and don't know if the depth listed in the specs is for the bottom of the machine or does it include the parts that stick out in the back and front.

- Answer Total unit depth is 32" which includes space for hoses in back. The door swings open another 20". I would add an inch in front if the unit happens to vibrate if unbalanced so it won't damage the closet door.

- Answer Judging by the IRS' Web site at http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Corporations/Manufacturers'-Energy-Efficient-Appliance-Credit, I think only Samsung can claim a credit (not we consumers).
