- Answer I replaced my downdraft with this but I took out my microwave and installed a range hood and installed a vent pipe to the outside. Cooktop is awesome and works great. The wifi just tells you which burner is on or off....

QuestionIs the cooktop easy clean porcelain/ceramic ?

- Answer No it is stainless steel. Cleaning is not too difficult, and if you're buying a gas range, you will have to deal with taking things off to clean, which will be the case with any stove. However it is very easy to clean. I recommend a stainless steel polish about once a month and things should not stick to it.

QuestionI need to know the cut out size for the 30” gas cook top for GE, Samsung, and LG….. I currently have a cut out measuring 29” w x 19-1/8 deep. My tops are granite. Will any of these cooktops fit? My gas line comes in at the back right hand corner

QuestionDoes the wifi box stick out on top of the counter or under the counter? I haven't seen any pictures of the installed stovetop. I can't tell if this will fit in my space.

QuestionSo, can the wifi antenna be removed or not? I'm seeing people posting on this site as well as other retailer's posts where people have removed it as it is essentially useless while others are saying it cannot be removed at all. What's the deal?

- Answer When our stove top was delivered the technician said it could be removed but it would leave a hole in the back and food/debris would get caught. We left it on even though we do not have a Samsung microwave so the feature is useless.

- Answer To avoid any measuring mishaps and then have to pay a restocking fee because I purchased a cook-top that wouldn't fit for some reason, I used Best Buys free Geek Squad service . They came to my house and took measurements and made recommendations. We purchase this cook-top and absolutely love it. We had no idea just how poor our 18 year old cook-top cooked until using this one. We also purchased the coordinating above the stove microwave and will hopefully replace our double oven soon too.

QuestionCan I change the gas nipple that is on the cooktop to a shorter one. My installer can’t see inside to see how it is attached to the unit. Is it pressed in or threaded on. I’m installing over a wall oven and it is too close to the oven

- Answer Never got the one we ordered in April 2022 an PAID FOR.. Delivered in November.. went to pick it up and THEY SOLD IT.. thinking they could have replaced it before I picked it up.. Had to buy something similar.. But countertop was cut for the one we ordered .. Countertop guys had to come back and recut the hole to fit the one theysubstituted.o

QuestionWhat is the exact material that is under the grates? I know the front is stainless. But it doesn't look like stainless in the body of the stove top. I hope it's not stainless because that scratches!
