QuestionWhenever I use both ovens the whole thing shuts off when I open the door" I get error message EOC but can't find this in the manual or anywhere else.Error message EOC appears very time I use double oven feature and open the door. Both ovens shut off and have to be reset. Help please.

- Answer I'm sorry to hear your FE710DRS Range is not functioning properly in Flex Duo mode. Please try cycling the power to the range by turning the circuit breaker off, and then back on. QuestionCan you not cook at very different temperatures?I bought this oven thinking I could cook two things at two significantly different temperatures. What I've found is that I can only cook two things at a difference of about 50-100 degrees maximum. For example, I can cook in the top at 350 and the bottom at 450. But I can't cook at 350 in the top and keep something warm at 200 in the lower. I also can't roast something at 450 in one and keep other food warm in the lower. Is there a way around this? It seems very misleading the way it is advertised.

- Answer I can't speculate about models and colors that may become available in the future, but at this point in time Samsung's Flex Duo (double oven) feature is available only in stainless steel. QuestionHow is it vented?We have an old house with an old "piggy back" oven. We would like to put in the Samsung duo flex. The oven is vented above, in the back of the cabinets and out the ceiling. How would this work for the new oven? thank you

- Answer Thanks for your interest in Samsung's FE710DRS Flex Duo Oven. The oven vents primarily through the front of the back splash (under the control panel), so doesn't need any special venting through the back. I would suggest reviewing the clearance requirements with regard to any cabinets above or adjacent to the cook top to make sure they meet existing installation guidelines. The attached images are excerpted from the Installation Guide, which can be downloaded in its complete form from the Support section of Samsung's website. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionCompared to a double oven range- is using the top portion of the oven only as energy efficient as the small top oven in a double oven range?I will use the smallest oven option 90% of the time and use a full size oven rarely. Which is more engergy efficient for my use, a range with double ovens or this range with the "divider"?

- Answer My mother in law has a double oven and regrets it. We use our top part more than whole oven ( we have the divider oven) and it's very efficient and super easy to use.

Questiontemp reading on panelwhen having a temp set of say 400 deg. and you open the door to turn or check the cooking and you close the door again it doesn''t change the temp reading and it seems to take a long tine to recover. had to turn off and reset and temp said 260 deg. had to reset temp. why and how can i corect this?

- Answer It isn't unusual for hot air to dissipate when the oven door is open, and keeping it open for an extended period of time could cause the internal temperature of the oven to drop dramatically and take time to recover, requiring it to heat up once again. However, it should reheat to the set temperature on its own without needing to be turned off and on again. If yours is not, then service may be needed. Questionhow many heating elements are in the oven itself?i can see the broil element, and 2 fans within. are there one or 2 elements behind the fans? mainly, is there an element underneath the bottom of the oven? for dual oven, lower, my convection fan turns on when on only bake setting. it also comes on during lower convection cook. on dual lower bake, is there an underside element on, the fan is on, and the lower convection element is off? its really confusing when you dont know how the oven is supposed to actually work. i cant tell what is working correctly or not

- Answer Thanks for the questions. The FE710DRS has a hidden bake element under the bottom oven panel. It also has a True Convection heating element behind the lower oven fan. The convection fans are designed to cycle on as needed in convection mode to maintain the set temperature, but also when the oven is preheating to help the air circulate in order to heat the oven cavity more quickly. Since the fan turns off when the oven door is opened, it may be difficult to determine when it's actually running. I hope this answers your questions. - Answer Thanks for your interest. The FE710DRS features both functional and aesthetic upgrades compared to the NE595R1ABSR. While both models have 5 cooktop surface elements including a warming center and two 6" elements, the FE710DRS features a 6"/9"/12" triple element as well as the Fast Boil double element; the NE595R1ABSR has 2 double elements, one 6"/9" and one 9"/12". The NE595R1ABSR also features a storage drawer and 2 oven racks compared to the 3 included racks and warming drawer on the upgraded model. The aesthetic differences include a glass touch control panel and more stainless steel surrounding the glass oven door on the FE710DRS. Both models feature the 5.9 cubic foot Flex Duo oven that is versatile enough to cook a large turkey or roast beef dinner with the divider removed; or broil seafood and bake cookies simultaneously without mixing odors and flavors with the divider inserted. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionDoes oven door remain open during broiling when bottom oven is also being used?I am confused with instruction manual. It would seem impossible to hold temperature in bottom cavity, yet supposedly you can broil and bake at same time.

- Answer Thanks for the question. The FE710DRS is designed to maintain the set temperatures in the upper and lower ovens by cycling the elements and fans as needed. Opening the door only to the "broil stop" position should not prevent the lower oven from maintaining the temperature, particularly since the broil function is usually used for a relatively short period of time. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionI am haven problems with the double oven tray switch.My oven has a problem with the tray switch. It seems to not want to properly turn on when the tray is in. you have to keep pulling and pushing the tray or push the door more closed until the switch picks up the tray. Doesnt make sense. The tray is in, the switch should pick it up. Suggestions?

- Answer I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your FE710DRS Flex Duo divider. You're right that the oven should automatically detect when the divider is in place. If it isn't, then service may be necessary to determine the cause. I would suggest checking the area around the button that is depressed when the divider is in place to make sure it's clean and there isn't a build up of grease or residue preventing the button from being pushed in by the divider. If this doesn't resolve it, and the button either won't depress all the way or the control panel doesn't indicate it's in place when the button is fully depressed, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.
