“The control panel is frozen None of the buttons on the panel are working. I have unplugged the stove a few times but it has not helped. Pressing the lock button and holding it for over 20 seconds has also not helped. The oven was put on self clean which led to the freezing of the panel. Can anyone help with any pointers?”

There are a few different functions that can cause the Control Panel to lock, including the Child Lock, Sabbath Mode and Self-clean (until the oven cools sufficiently). Since you've already tried disengaging the Child Lock, another possible cause of the oven remaining locked is that it hadn't cooled sufficiently after the Self-clean cycle was complete. The door and controls are designed to remain locked until the oven temperature falls below 350°F. Sabbath mode is indicated by the letters Sab displayed on the control panel. If the Sabbath mode was started unintentionally, then you'll need to press and hold the CLOCK and TIMER ON/OFF pad at the same time for 3 seconds. If none of these suggestions help to explain or resolve the issue you're having, then service may be necessary.
