“On what side on the back of the stove is the gas line connection? We are having a plumber come out to install a gas line and need to know where the connection is on the back of the stove (left or right?)”

The gas line connection is located on the lower right side when facing the rear of the FX510BGS. Please see attached for the recommended gas and electrical connection locations, which can also be found in the installation guide that comes with the gas range. Thank you, Ms. Samsung

Please try again later.In the Installation Requirements section of installation manual (provided with delivery), it's a bit confusing for a lay person, but the gas pipe area is on the left. In the diagram it says "17 in X 9 in Gas Wall Area" which is illustrated in grey and appears to be 17" from left, 9" high. It seems the left is recommended, stating this area is "recommended area for through-the-wall and through-the-floor connection of gas pipe stub and shut-off valve." which I take to mean no farther to right than 17", no higher than 9". My old gas pipe was too high, so had to be replaced. Also, the electric cord was too short, so outlet had to be moved. Above counter, about 10-12" extension.
