You can go to Samsung's website and look how to "restart" the icemaker. This should take care of it.

If the ice maker was working properly prior to changing the filter, then the issue you're having may be caused by air in the lines. To bleed the air from the lines, dispense several (3-6) gallons of water, then press the Test button on the ice maker to reset it. (If both the upper and lower ice makers are affected, reset both of them.) Following are some of the other factors that can affect the ability of the ice makers to function properly: - Is the water connected, the valve turned on and hoses unkinked and free of obstruction? - Is your home's water pressure between 20~125 psi? Under normal conditions, a 5.75 oz. glass can be filled in about 10 seconds. - Is the refrigerator set at the recommended 37°F? If the refrigerator is too cold, the water lines could freeze. - Is the freezer temperature cold enough? Samsung recommends setting the freezer at 0°F. - Is the ice maker turned on? Make sure the Ice Off icon is not illuminated on the display. - Is the feeler arm under the lower ice maker stuck in the "up" position, which would signal to the ice maker that the bucket is full and to stop making ice. - Is the control panel locked, which would prevent the dispenser from operating? - Is the water filter installed properly and locked in place? After replacing the filter, you should reset the Filter Indicator Light by pressing the Alarm button for 3 seconds. - Ms. Samsung
