A:AnswerIf the letters OF show in the RF323TEDBSR display, this indicates cooling off mode (also known as Demo or Display mode) has been activated. To turn this mode of, press the Energy Saver + Freezer buttons until a chime sounds (about 5 seconds).
Thanks for the question,

A:AnswerHi Hulagirl,
The Energy Guide attached to the RF323TEDBSR on Best Buy's website was valid up until September 2014 when Energy Star revised their methods for capacity measurement and testing. Based on the new standards, updated energy usage information was issued on new Energy Guides (recognized by yellow type on a black background). The RF323TEDBSR, which still qualifies for Energy Star, is now measured as providing 30.5 cu ft of storage with an annual energy use of 753 kWh at an average cost of $90 per year. Please be sure to reference the new Energy Star information for all models you're considering for an "apples to apples" comparison. The RF323TEDBSR is the only Samsung model currently available here that fits your description.
Thank you for considering Samsung!

A:AnswerHi Mojorich,
I'm sorry to hear your water dispenser isn't working. I would suggest checking the water line that runs from the refrigerator to the door to make sure it's connected properly, especially if the doors had been removed for delivery. Instructions can be found in the User Manual under "Reattaching the Refrigerator Doors." Please also make sure "Water" is selected on the control panel. If the problem persists, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you further.

A:AnswerI'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with the lower ice maker your RF323TEDBSR. The test button on the freezer ice makers in most models is under the front edge of the ice maker, and the lever arm hangs under it, with just enough movement available for the ice maker to detect that the bin below it is full. If you're unable to locate these parts and resolve the issue, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to help.
Thank you,
Ms. Samsung

A:AnswerI'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your new RF323TEDBSR. It isn't unusual to have a few drops of water in the drawer or elsewhere in the fridge due to humidity and condensation, but if a significant amount is accumulating service may be necessary to determine the cause and find a solution. Please check to make sure the filter is installed securely and locked in place. If the problem persists, call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

A:AnswerThanks for the question. You'll need to remove the frost by wiping the surfaces inside the freezer with a towel. For heavy frost, you may need to either remove items that can be rinsed under warm water, use a warm towel, or increase the freezer temperature to enable the frost to melt.

A:AnswerThe lower ice maker in the RF323TEDBSR is designed to produce approximately 3 lbs of ice per day under ideal conditions, which is a little more than half of the 5.5 lb storage capacity of the ice bin. When the Ice Master ice maker in the refrigerator is being used alone (so the lower one is turned off), it can produce up to 10 lbs of ice per day. When both ice makers are turned on, the total combined production capacity is 11.8 lbs.
Production may vary depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of door openings and other factors, so if yours is making less than this, I would suggest checking the following:
- The recommended temperature for the freezer compartment is 0°F. If the freezer temperature is set higher than this, it could slow ice production.
- Is something pressing against the lever that detects when the ice bin is full? The ice maker will not produce ice if it detects a full bin.
- Have you tried pressing the Test button on the ice maker to reset it?
- Have you replaced your water filter recently? A clogged or partially clogged filter can slow water flow and affect ice production. After replacing the filter, be sure to dispense up to 6 gallons of water to bleed air from the lines.
- Is your home's water pressure sufficient? In order for the ice maker to operate properly, water pressure of 20~125 psi is required. Under normal conditions, a 6 oz glass can be filled in about 10 seconds. If the Refrigerator is installed in an area with low water pressure (below 20psi), you may be able to install a booster pump to compensate for the low pressure.
- The Power Freeze feature can help increase ice production by running the compressor for an extended period of time.
I hope this information helps to maximize the ice production in your RF323TEDBSR. Thank you for choosing Samsung!
